I tried a co-op bot match with real players and still had 1000 ping. I recently loaded up Dota and was having some lag so I made a private game and with the -ping command I found I was having a constant 1000 ping never moving from it.

I then did a ping test online and found I was getting a healthy 45 ms ping I could open web pages and load videos fast etc. With google I have 10-15 ms in any other online games like cs go I have low latency aroun 20-30 ms but in dota 2 its between 100 and 1000. Please sign in to post comments.

But I keep getting a lag spike like once every 2 mins the game just freeze. Every minute or less the heroes would freeze and run in their places as if there is an invisible treadmill under them and then things would go back to normal after about 2 to 5 seconds of staying in this situation.
